This recipe is a sophisticated, Michelin-inspired option that borrows flavor profiles from traditional Tiki style drinks, pairing espresso with bright citrus and marzipan notes.

A bright, aromatic mocktail balancing deep espresso with sweet almond orgeat and fresh citrus juices.
Ingredients: 1.5 oz chilled espresso, 0.75 oz almond orgeat syrup, 0.75 oz Cara Cara orange juice, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 3 oz club soda.
Method: Shake the orange juice, lime juice, and orgeat syrup together without ice (dry shake). Pour the mixture over crushed ice into a glass. Top with club soda, and then slowly float the chilled espresso on top.
Garnish: A fresh sprig of mint.
Why it works: The nutty sweetness of the almond orgeat tames the sharp bitterness of the espresso, while the double hit of citrus mirrors the natural acidity found in lighter roast beans.
